The sanctuary at the new DMU chapel

St. Dymphna Chapel at O'Boyle Hall

Build a place where the work of the Church and the science of the soul meet.

Divine Mercy University is rebuilding a chapel — to be named for St. Dymphna, the patroness of mental health — at the heart of our new home on the CUA campus. It will be the place where students, faculty, clinicians, and visiting clergy gather for daily Mass, adoration, and the rhythms of the liturgical year. 44 named-gift opportunities are available — ranging from the lead-gift chapel entrance and pipe organ down to engraved memorial pavers — so donors at every level can leave a mark on the space.

The space

O'Boyle Hall's chapel needs renovation before DMU moves in. The sanctuary, the three large clear-glass windows, the entrance, and the balcony are the major elements being restored. In keeping with the original architectural design, the windows are being restored as clear glass to admit maximum natural light into the sanctuary.
