Rachel Gehring — Divine Mercy University faculty

Rachel Gehring was certified in spiritual direction at The Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction in 2013. She obtained a BA in Theological Studies from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in 2016 (thesis on directing the nineteenth annotation), and a MA in Pastoral Studies (pastoral counseling concentration) from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in 2020. Rachel taught high school theology from 2016-2020 and has served as part-time faculty at Divine Mercy University in the Spiritual Direction Certificate since 2021. Rachel offers spiritual direction, the nineteenth annotation, and pastoral supervision for spiritual directors in person and virtually through Transformed By Mercy. Rachel lives in Idaho and is happily married to Mark. Together, they have four children.
