Marion Bean Moreland received her B. S in Sports and Health Sciences in 2013 and her M.S. in Counseling from Divine Mercy University in 2019. She is a Certified Traumatologist from Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and has deployed after several disasters, presented on numerous topics related to disaster mental health and started the Appalachian Trauma and Resiliency Center in 2020. She is trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy and works as a therapist in private practice.

Marion is a wife of 38 years, mother of three, and “Baachan” of nine. She is a Tertiary in the Order of the Most Holy Trinity having made her profession in 1994. She is a native of California but has lived in several locations including Colorado, Japan, Iowa, and Arizona. She currently resides on the Monongahela River in West Virginia. Before children she worked as a payroll tax specialist and human resource director and then she turned her focus to the education of her children. She has worked in several parishes over about 12 years assisting with liturgy, RCIA, Confirmation, adult education, and funerals.
