The Divine Mercy University, School of Counseling (SOC) offers a Master of Science in Counseling degree with an entry-level specialty program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC). The CMHC program is 66 semester credit hours and designed to meet the educational requirements for professional counseling licensure in most states. The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), has granted accreditation to the following programs in the School of Counseling at Divine Mercy University: M.S. in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In some states, additional educational requirements through the SOC are necessary to meet the professional licensing requirements..
